1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled across Yeaker’s public websites (together, the “Sites”), including:

• yeaker.com (hub, About, Contact, and this Privacy Policy)
• fuzi.yeaker.com (Fuzi AI / 夫子AI)
• fsdtracker.yeaker.com (FSD Tracker)
• robotaxi.yeaker.com (Robotaxi Pulse)
• teslabrief.yeaker.com (Tesla Brief)
• xiaojiang.yeaker.com (Xiaojiang)

Yeaker is an independent collection of projects. The Sites do not require user accounts for ordinary browsing.

2. Information We Collect

Server request data (all Sites). When you request a page or API, the hosting servers typically receive technical data such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser user agent, and similar connection metadata. These appear in nginx access logs and may be aggregated into traffic summaries used to operate, secure, and understand usage of the Sites. Aggregate summaries used by operators do not include full request-path detail for every hit.

yeaker.com hub. The hub does not provide account signup or an on-site contact form. The root path may redirect to an English or Simplified Chinese homepage using (in order) an explicit first-party language cookie (yeaker_lang), the browser Accept-Language header, or English as a fallback. Visiting /en/ or /zh/ always shows that language and may refresh the language cookie. No IP geolocation is used for language selection.

Fuzi AI (fuzi.yeaker.com). If you use chat (“问夫子”), the questions and conversation context you submit are sent to our servers to generate answers. User questions and AI-generated answers may be stored on the server for service operation. Chat-related records may be associated with an identifier derived from the visitor’s IP address for usage limits and service operations. Questions may also appear in URL query parameters (for example /chat?q=), which can be recorded in browser history and in server access logs. AI requests are processed using Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Qwen) (see Third-Party Services). Fuzi AI loads Google Fonts from Google’s external font service. Reading progress and PWA-related preferences may be stored locally in your browser (for example in localStorage). Voluntary support pages may link to third-party payment services if you choose to donate. There is currently no public feedback form entry on Fuzi AI.

FSD Tracker and Robotaxi Pulse. These Sites primarily display public or official registration and mileage-related information. They do not ask ordinary visitors to create accounts or submit personal profiles.

Tesla Brief. The Site shows aggregated public updates. Your browser may store a local “last seen” timestamp so newly arrived items can be highlighted. Content preparation on our servers may use a third-party translation API for some non-English source text before publication; that processing is not a visitor-side tracker when you simply read the Site.

Xiaojiang (xiaojiang.yeaker.com). The Site may store preferences such as locale (NEXT_LOCALE), timezone (wc_tz), and followed teams (wc_fav / related local storage) so pages can render in a useful way. Optional match reminder preferences may be stored locally in the browser (for example wc_notification_prefs). A service worker may run on the device to schedule those reminders and hold related reminder data in browser storage (such as IndexedDB); this is not a third-party push-notification service. Browser notifications, if you enable reminders, use the browser Notification API and require your permission. The Site does not require a user account for ordinary browsing.

Contact outside the Sites. If you message the operator on X (Twitter) or use a third-party payment page linked from a Site, that platform’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the information you share there.

3. Cookies and Analytics

No dedicated product analytics suite (such as Google Analytics) has been intentionally installed on the Sites, and Google AdSense is not currently enabled.

Depending on which Site you use, your browser may store:

• First-party cookies on yeaker.com for homepage language preference (yeaker_lang); on xiaojiang.yeaker.com for locale (NEXT_LOCALE), timezone (wc_tz), and followed teams (wc_fav).
• localStorage / sessionStorage for preferences or UI state—for example language, reading progress, and PWA preference flags on Fuzi AI; optional match reminder preferences (wc_notification_prefs) on Xiaojiang; PWA install-hint dismissals on some Sites; and Tesla Brief’s last-seen marker.
• Service workers and on-device storage on Sites that register a service worker (including yeaker.com, Robotaxi Pulse, Tesla Brief, and Xiaojiang). Some workers cache pages or assets for more reliable loading; Xiaojiang’s worker is used mainly to schedule local match reminders (with related data in browser storage such as IndexedDB), not as a remote push network. Data stored by the browser can usually be cleared in browser settings.

We do not currently show a site-wide cookie consent banner because the Sites do not rely on advertising or third-party analytics cookies today. If that changes, this policy and related notices will be updated.

4. Third-Party Services

The Sites use or may connect to third parties as follows:

• Fonts. yeaker.com and Fuzi AI load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Several other project Sites use Next.js font loading and serve font files from the same domain after build-time optimization. Where Google Fonts is requested directly, Google may receive technical request data under Google’s privacy policy.
• Fuzi AI language models. Chat and related generation features use Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Qwen) international APIs. Question text and prompt context needed to produce an answer are processed by that provider under its terms.
• Fuzi AI donations. Support links may include Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal (and other payment channels shown on the donate page). Payment processors handle donor information under their own policies.
• Tesla Brief content preparation. Our servers may call MyMemory Translate when preparing some English summaries of non-English source material. This is server-side content processing, not an advertising pixel on the reader’s browser.
• Outbound links. Project pages link to official registries, news sources, and other external sites we do not control.

5. Advertising

Google AdSense and other advertising networks are not currently enabled on the Yeaker Sites listed above.

Yeaker may introduce Google AdSense or similar advertising in the future to help support the projects. Before advertising is activated, this policy will be updated and applicable consent mechanisms will be implemented as required. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors—including Google—may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads. Until then, we do not claim that Google advertising cookies are active on these Sites.

6. Data Retention and Security

Server logs, quota counters, aggregated traffic summaries, and any server-stored Fuzi AI chat-related records are retained only as needed to operate and maintain the Sites. We have not published a fixed public retention schedule, and we do not claim a specific deletion or data-export process on the Sites.

We use HTTPS and other measures appropriate for small independently operated websites. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Choices

• Clear cookies, site data, and cached files in your browser settings; for Xiaojiang reminders, you can also deny or revoke browser notification permission.
• Avoid Fuzi AI chat or donation links if you do not want questions or related data processed or stored; be aware that shared /chat?q= links can expose question text in history and logs.
• Block or limit third-party content with browser or network tools where available.
• Stop using any Site at any time.
• If advertising is added later, use Google Ad Settings or other applicable regional opt-out tools where available.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Please review the revised policy after updates.
