Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled across Yeaker’s public websites (together, the “Sites”), including:

Yeaker is an independent collection of projects. The Sites do not require user accounts for ordinary browsing. A private operator traffic dashboard at yeaker.com/stats/ is restricted to site operators and is not part of the public visitor experience described here.

2. Information We Collect

Server request data (all Sites). When you request a page or API, the hosting servers typically receive technical data such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser user agent, and similar connection metadata. These appear in nginx access logs and may be aggregated into traffic summaries used to operate, secure, and understand usage of the Sites. Aggregate summaries used by operators do not include full request-path detail for every hit.

yeaker.com hub. The hub does not provide account signup or an on-site contact form. It may read your browser language preference in your device to show certain labels in English or Chinese. That preference is used only in your browser for display.

Fuzi AI (fuzi.yeaker.com). If you use chat (“问夫子”), the questions and conversation context you submit are sent to our servers to generate answers. Related content may be processed by a third-party language-model provider (see Third-Party Services). Public chat usage may be rate-limited using technical identifiers such as IP address, with daily quota counters stored on our servers. Voluntary support pages may link to third-party payment services if you choose to donate. There is currently no public feedback form entry on Fuzi AI.

FSD Tracker and Robotaxi Pulse. These Sites primarily display public or official registration and mileage-related information. They do not ask ordinary visitors to create accounts or submit personal profiles.

Tesla Brief. The Site shows aggregated public updates. Your browser may store a local “last seen” timestamp so newly arrived items can be highlighted. Content preparation on our servers may use a third-party translation API for some non-English source text before publication; that processing is not a visitor-side tracker when you simply read the Site.

中国足球小将 (xiaojiang.yeaker.com). The Site may store preferences such as locale, timezone, and followed teams so pages can render in a useful way. Those preferences are kept in first-party cookies and/or local storage on your device.

Contact outside the Sites. If you message the operator on X (Twitter) or use a third-party payment page linked from a Site, that platform’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the information you share there.

3. Cookies and Analytics

No dedicated product analytics suite (such as Google Analytics) has been intentionally installed on the Sites, and Google AdSense is not currently enabled.

Depending on which Site you use, your browser may store:

  • First-party cookies on xiaojiang.yeaker.com for locale (NEXT_LOCALE), timezone (wc_tz), and followed teams (wc_fav).
  • localStorage / sessionStorage for preferences or UI state—for example language or reading progress on Fuzi AI, PWA install-hint dismissals on some Sites, and Tesla Brief’s last-seen marker.
  • Service workers and browser caches on Sites that offer PWA / offline-friendly loading (including yeaker.com, Robotaxi Pulse, and Tesla Brief). Cached files stay on your device and can usually be cleared in browser settings.

We do not currently show a site-wide cookie consent banner because the Sites do not rely on advertising or third-party analytics cookies today. If that changes, this policy and related notices will be updated.

4. Third-Party Services

The Sites use or may connect to third parties as follows:

  • Fonts. yeaker.com loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Several project Sites use Next.js font loading and serve font files from the same domain after build-time optimization. Where Google Fonts is requested directly, Google may receive technical request data under Google’s privacy policy.
  • Fuzi AI language models. Chat and related generation features use Alibaba Cloud DashScope international APIs (Qwen), via the DashScope international endpoint. Question text and prompt context needed to produce an answer are processed by that provider under its terms.
  • Fuzi AI donations. Support links may include Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal (and other payment channels shown on the donate page). Payment processors handle donor information under their own policies.
  • Tesla Brief content preparation. Our servers may call MyMemory Translate when preparing some English summaries of non-English source material. This is server-side content processing, not an advertising pixel on the reader’s browser.
  • Outbound links. Project pages link to official registries, news sources, and other external sites we do not control.

5. Advertising

Google AdSense and other advertising networks are not currently enabled on the Yeaker Sites listed above.

Yeaker may introduce Google AdSense or similar advertising in the future to help support the projects. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors—including Google—may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, and additional disclosures or consent tools may be provided as required. This policy will be updated before or when advertising goes live. Until then, we do not claim that Google advertising cookies are active on these Sites.

6. Data Retention and Security

Server logs, quota counters, and aggregated traffic summaries are retained only as needed to operate and maintain the Sites. We have not published a fixed public retention schedule.

Chat content is processed to provide answers; we do not publish a separate visitor-facing retention period for chat transcripts on the Sites.

We use HTTPS and other measures appropriate for small independently operated websites. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Choices

  • Clear cookies, site data, and cached files in your browser settings.
  • Avoid Fuzi AI chat or donation links if you do not want to send that information.
  • Block or limit third-party content with browser or network tools where available.
  • Stop using any Site at any time.
  • If advertising is added later, use Google Ad Settings or other applicable regional opt-out tools where available.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Please review the revised policy after updates.
